Terms and Conditions for Using the WPHunt Application

Scope of the Terms and Conditions

By registering, all Users agree to the Terms and Conditions (T&C) as outlined below. These T&C remain effective even if the application is accessed via another website. They apply to all forms of usage of the application and its services (such as desktop website, mobile website, and mobile application) through which the application is accessible.

Proceeding beyond this interface is only possible after accepting the Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

User: Any natural person who uses the services provided by WPHunt (including courses, workshops, or consultations), or who downloads the application from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to access the service.

Service: Through the WPHunt platform, users can purchase individual or subscription-based digital training packages. Some of these materials are free, while others are available either by one-time purchase or through a monthly subscription model. Content is provided in the form of videos and written documents, accessible via the application or the website.

Application: The WPHunt mobile app, available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Application Usage

The application may only be used by natural persons who are at least 18 years of age. It is available exclusively for personal, non-commercial use upon payment of a monthly subscription fee and in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Detailed information about how the app works is available via the introductory videos once the user has registered.

Before installing, copying, or using the application in any way, Users are required to read these Terms and Conditions. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the app, the User acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this agreement.

Using the application creates a legal relationship solely between the User and the Service Provider. An active internet connection is required to access the app; all costs of mobile data usage are borne by the User. The Service Provider assumes no responsibility for any errors related to the User’s internet connection.

The User acknowledges that the service operates based on current data. The Service Provider does not carry out separate identification of the User beyond automated verification of the information provided by the User during registration.

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, alter the functioning of the app, or terminate the service at any time without prior notice to the User. Access to the application may also be revoked at any time, either in part or in whole, without notice or warning.

Ordering Process (Updated with Stripe)

Training packages and monthly subscriptions can be ordered by clicking the „Order Now” button. (Prices for products and subscriptions are clearly displayed both on the website and within the mobile app.)

Purchasing a training package is a one-time transaction. The User receives access to the specific package they have selected.

Opting for a monthly subscription involves a recurring commitment. The subscription fee is charged on a monthly basis, and in return, the User receives new content regularly (at least two new packages per month). In case of cancellation, the content will no longer be accessible from the following month. Prior to each billing cycle, Users receive a reminder email, giving them the opportunity to cancel if they choose to do so.

Prices for both packages and subscriptions are listed clearly on the website and in the application.

For in-app purchases, the content becomes available immediately after successful payment. For orders placed through the website, the purchased package is delivered to the User within 5 business days.

Placing an order constitutes a legally binding agreement concluded electronically, which entails a payment obligation. The contract is made in Hungarian and is governed by Hungarian law (in accordance with Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce and certain issues of information society services).

The price of the ordered product can be paid either:

  • via bank transfer (for website orders), or

  • via credit/debit card payment (for in-app purchases), processed securely through the Stripe payment gateway.

In case of bank transfer, the User receives a payment request email including the amount to be transferred and the bank account number.

For card payments, Users are redirected to Stripe’s secure platform, where they can complete the transaction. Stripe supports payments from major international and domestic banks, and ensures industry-leading security compliance.

The merchant (WPHunt) does not receive or store any card data. All card payments are processed securely through Stripe, a globally recognized and PCI DSS-compliant payment provider.

The transaction is free of charge for the User – WPHunt covers the Stripe processing fee. Payment data is handled in compliance with the strictest security standards and is never stored on the merchant’s systems.

In case of any errors or omissions related to product information or pricing, we reserve the right to correct them. In such cases, the User will be informed of the updated details. The User can then choose to confirm the order again, or either party may withdraw from the contract.

 

Unauthorized Use

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the use of the application. Any usage that violates these Terms and Conditions will be considered unauthorized by the Service Provider.

 

Platform Compatibility and Technical Requirements

The WPHunt application is currently available for mobile devices running:

  • Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher, or

  • iOS 11.0 or later

To use the application, Users must ensure:

  • Adequate free storage space on their device

  • A stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth

The User is solely responsible for meeting these technical requirements. The Service Provider is not liable for the consequences of failing to meet them.

The application must be downloaded exclusively via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. It can only be used after installation and successful registration.

Please note:
The app does not support simultaneous use across multiple devices with the same account. Using the app on multiple devices at once may lead to performance issues and is not recommended.

The Service Provider shall not be held liable for any errors, interruptions, or data loss caused by external platforms (e.g., Facebook login, cloud servers), nor for damage resulting from third-party services integrated with the application.

 

Service Fee

Downloading the WPHunt application is free of charge. Free content is available upon installation.
Access to premium content requires either:

  • a monthly subscription, or

  • a one-time purchase of specific packages.

The current pricing is always visible in the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, and within the app itself. The Service Provider reserves the right to change the pricing at any time.

The application contains in-app purchases (IAP) that allow Users to access additional features or accelerate their learning experience. In most cases, these features will become available over time as part of the regular monthly subscription, but Users may choose to purchase them immediately.

 

Limitation of Liability

The agreement does not impose any additional obligations on the Service Provider beyond what is explicitly stated in these Terms and Conditions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider excludes or limits liability arising from:

  • breach of contract,

  • indirect or consequential damages,

  • data loss, content loss, or device malfunction,

  • interruptions due to internet outages or third-party integrations (e.g., Facebook login or content delivery servers).

The User accepts full responsibility for using the application at their own risk. The Service Provider is not liable for any material or non-material damages arising from use of the app, except in cases of intentional harm or damage to life, physical health, or safety.

The application and all its updates are provided “as is,” without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The Service Provider is not responsible for:

  • incompatibility with third-party hardware or software,

  • any damages caused by the app to the User’s device,

  • unauthorized modification, reverse engineering, or tampering with the database or codebase.

Any such unauthorized use will result in immediate termination of access.

The Service Provider ensures, to the best of its ability, that the application operates safely and securely from a technical standpoint. However, it assumes no responsibility for any data loss, technical failures, or damages resulting from the use of the internet or third-party platforms.

 

Registration and Stored Data

The application is accessible only after successful registration. Users can register in one of the following ways:

  • via Google Account

  • via Apple ID

  • or by providing an email address and password

The Service Provider assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or correctness of the data provided during registration.

A user profile is automatically created based on the information submitted. Following registration, WPHunt may send service-related notifications and app update announcements to the User’s registered email address.

Users may also grant optional consent to receive push notifications even when the app is not actively running on their device. This setting is configurable within the application and is not mandatory.

Any User who:

  • shares or distributes the app under their own name,

  • partially or fully copies or repurposes the content,

  • infringes on intellectual property,

  • uses trademarks without authorization,

  • damages the app in any way,

  • or violates any of the Terms listed herein,
    may have their access revoked without notice.

To delete an account, Users must send an email request to: info@wphunt.net.
Please note: Deleting the app from a device does not automatically remove the user account. An email must be sent to request permanent deletion.

 

Data Protection and Privacy

The Service Provider processes personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection regulations and displays the Privacy Policy within the application.

By using the app, the User consents to the processing and storage of the personal data they provide, in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

 

Intellectual Property & Copyrights

The application and its underlying software are protected under Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

By downloading the app, the User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. Ownership rights remain entirely with the Service Provider.

All rights related to the app – including but not limited to:

  • modification,

  • updates and maintenance,

  • redistribution,

  • duplication,

  • documentation,

  • licensing,

  • publication, and any other intellectual property rights –
    remain the sole property of the Service Provider.

The application’s structure, source code, and internal logic are considered the professional and business secrets of the Service Provider.

The app may only be used or copied under the terms outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

 

Updates and External Software

App updates replace and/or supplement the existing version. Any updated version must also be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
The current version number is always displayed within the application’s menu.

The application can only be downloaded through:

  • the Apple App Store, or

  • the Google Play Store

By using the app, the User acknowledges that they have read and accept the terms set by the App Store and/or Google Play Store. These are considered legally binding, and the Service Provider has no control over their content or any changes made to them.

The User may not file any claim or compensation request against WPHunt for issues originating from third-party platforms or external software services (e.g. iOS, Android, Google, Apple App Store, Google Play, Facebook, etc.).

 

Use on Multiple Devices

The application is intended for use on a single device per user account. Simultaneous use across multiple devices with the same account is not supported and may result in performance issues or account limitations.

 

Restrictions

The User agrees to the following restrictions:

  • The application or any part of it may not be rented, leased, transferred, or distributed to third parties.

  • The User may not modify, reverse-engineer, translate, or alter the software, database, or any part of the application.

  • Any copyright, trademark, or patent markings may not be removed, altered, or obscured.

  • The User may not use the application or its content for illegal purposes or in a way that violates these Terms and Conditions.

  • The User acknowledges that any attempt to modify or decompile the source code of the application is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

  • Unauthorized use or any form of abuse of the intellectual property, content, or platform will result in immediate termination of access and potential legal consequences.

 

Warranty and Indemnification

The User is solely responsible for ensuring that their device meets all technical and hardware requirements necessary to use the application.
The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • data loss,

  • device malfunction,

  • or any damage resulting from using the app,
    even indirectly.

WPHunt disclaims all responsibility for the performance or availability of the app, including interruptions due to force majeure.

The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted access, nor shall it be held liable for content loss or technical issues resulting from app failures or third-party integrations (e.g., Facebook login or sync).

No damages or compensation claims will be accepted due to:

  • unavailability of external services,

  • improper device compatibility,

  • or other factors outside the Service Provider’s control.

The app is provided “as is”, and WPHunt offers no warranties beyond what is explicitly stated in this document.

 

Contract Duration and Termination

This agreement enters into effect once the application has been downloaded and the User has completed the registration process. The contract is established for an indefinite period.

The agreement may be terminated in any of the following ways:

  • Ordinary termination by either the Service Provider or the User

  • Withdrawal from the agreement by either party

  • If the purpose of the service is no longer valid

  • By mutual agreement of the parties

  • If the Service Provider is dissolved without legal successor, ceases operation, or suspends service indefinitely

  • In the event of the User’s death

Final Provisions

The Service Provider reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with prior notification to Users.
Only the most recent version published on the website is considered valid.

The Service Provider also reserves the right to:

  • display advertisements and marketing content on the website at any time,

  • modify or update any part of the website without prior notice,

  • transfer the website to a different domain name if necessary.

Any omission or failure to enforce a specific right or clause in this contract does not constitute a waiver of that right.

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between the User and the Service Provider regarding the use of the application.

Hungarian law shall govern this agreement.

In any matters not regulated herein, the following laws shall apply (as amended):

  • Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR)

  • Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information

  • Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright

  • Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce and Information Society Services

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If the User has a complaint, they may first contact the Service Provider directly at:

The Service Provider is obligated to investigate and respond to complaints within 30 days.
